Our Story

JHF Carriers started as a mere daydream of an ambitious woman – our director, Johanna Fourie – which became an astounding reality in January 2014.

However due to other responsibilities Johanna’s time was limited and it was then that her daughter in law, Erika Fourie, stepped in to expand the business further. Being new in the industry and trying to get a foot in the door was certainly not an easy task, but with perseverance and patience we managed to gain numerous transporter’s and loading depot’s trust and we have expanded greatly and have well established clients across South Africa.

It is our vision to build a strong, honest and long lasting relationship with our clients, providing them with excellent service and willingness to go the extra mile. As a family business we also aim to build a heritage which we can pass on to our children and their children to continue the legacy and to provide a future for them. We do not just want to run a business and leave it at that – JHF Carriers is a company that we want to personalise and in future would like to reach out and effect and enhance our community as well!!

Our Services

As transport brokers we are involved on both sides of the industry. We have numerous top level transporters on our team (all meeting the necessary requirements and with Goods In Transit documents in order) capable of providing the following trucks: Super-link tautliners; Super-link flatdecks; Super-link dropsides; Refrigerated trucks. We also provide reliable loads to and from the following areas: Limpopo; Mpumalanga; Durban; Gauteng; Cape Town.

Specialised fields

We are largely involved in the Citrus Trade and have various loads during March to October from Limpopo and Mpumalanga to Durban and Johannesburg. For the farms we have an added services of personally booking the trucks to offload safely and will keep you updated regularly on the whereabouts of the cargo. And for our transporters we have well kept relationships with the personnel at the various offloading points and will always go the extra mile to ensure that trucks offload in a respectable time.

Fast Delivery

Great care is taken to ensure that each load is offloaded at a respectable time (with the safety of the cargo, truck and driver kept in mind all the time) and all clients are kept up to date in the event of an unexpected delay.

Assurance

All our transporters meet the necessary requirements with regards to their Goods in Transit insurance, cleanliness of the trucks and associated equipment and respectability of their drivers. Our loading depots are also very helpful with the timeous loading of the trucks and most have acceptable facilities to accommodate the drivers’ needs.
